Dubois Man Arrested On Rape, Child Sex Charges

(DUBOIS) - A Dubois man was arrested earlier on charges of rape.
State Police Jasper say they were called to a home on Walnut Street in Dubois where the tipster indicated 33-year-old John Priddy was having sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old girl.
When police arrived, they immediately separated Priddy and the girl, and called in a detective.
A state police detective and the Department of Family and Children investigated the incident which resulted in Priddy's arrest.
Priddy was taken to Dubois County jail charged with felony counts of rape, sexual misconduct with a minor, and intimidation.
If convicted, police say Priddy could be facing up to 43 years behind bars and $30,000 dollars in fines.
