Clinton, Astin Talk To IU Crowd Monday Night

(BLOOMINGTON) - Former first-daughter Chelsea Clinton and current Hollywood actor Sean Astin made their trip to Bloomington yesterday.
Astin, who is known for his roles as Samwise in The Lord of the Rings trilogy, as Rudy in the movie by the same name, and to more college students as the imbecilic brother Doug in Fifty First Dates, warmed up the crowd for Chelsea to follow.
Chelsea spoke to the several hundred people who attended the event at IU Auditorium's Grand Foyer spoke as to why her mother, New York Senator Hillary Clinton, would be the better nominee for the general election over Illinois Senator Barack Obama.
Clinton also took time to answer questions from the crowd.
Both senators Clinton and Obama have started turning more attention on the Hoosier State since our primary on May 6th is one of the largest ones to follow a hugely important April 22nd primary in Pennsylvania.
