Charges Filed In 1988 Clay County Murder Case

(BRAZIL) - Special prosecutors in Clay County have announced the results of a grand jury investigation into the 1988 murder of Tonya Pickett and Ricky Mustard.
The grand jury has charged 37-year-old John Lovett with two counts of murder and he was arrested around 10:00am yesterday morning.
Lovett is currently in the Clay County jail where he is being held without bond.
In November of 1988, Pickett and Mustard's bodies were found by Pickett's mother and Mustard's wife.
Lovett will stand trial in early Augist in Clay Circuit Court.
