Former gubernatorial candidate and Bedford native LaRon Keith has made a surprise move, and filed for candidacy against District 4 Congressman Steve Buyer.
Earlier this week, Keith announced his exit from the governor's race, citing injuries from an automotive accident making it difficult for him to campaign.
However, the most recent listings of candidate filings from both Secretary of State Todd Rokita's office, and Lawrence County Clerk Myron Rainey's office, confirm LaRon Keith is on the ballot for the May 6th Republican primary for 4th District Congress.
