Brother Sister Team Arrested For Check Fraud

(JEFFERSONVILLE) - A brother/sister team have been arrested in Clark County on charges relating to their allegedly making and cashing fake checks.

35-year-old Adam Kesler and his sister, 44-year-old Deborah Braddock allegedly printed false payroll checks and would cash them in a number of locations from Indiana to Kentucky to Ohio.

State Police Sellersburg allegedly recovered 6 checks worth more than $2,400 upon arrest.

Right now, Kesler is facing one felony count of conspiracy to commit forgery.

Braddock is facing 6 felony counts of forgery.

Both are being held in Clark County jail.
