Alleged Drunk Man Runs Into Two Parked Police Cruisers

State Police Jasper say the Tell City man that ran into a pair of parked police cruisers was drunk.
Tell City police officers were responding to an unrelated call near the intersection of 11th and Washington Streets in Tell City when 31-year-old William Thomas struck their cruisers.
Reports say Thomas subsequently got out of the car and took off running but, after a short pursuit, officers nabbed Thomas and took him to Perry County Jail.
Thomas stands charged with a felony count of operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior and misdemeanor counts of resisting law enforcement by fleeing, driving while suspended with a prior and leaving the scene of an accident.
No police officers are reported as injured from the wreck.
