(BEDFORD) - The Bedford area got a dusting of around an inch of snow overnight, and more is due this evening.
The snow right now, however, has tapered off enough that road crews are able to more easily manage it and, at this time, several area school districts, child care facilities and businesses are on a delayed schedule.
There's still a 30% chance of additional flurries and snow showers due early this evening, however they are looking to be lighter than the snow we're waking up to this morning.
The snow we have came from the southwest, and is making its way up toward Muncie and Cincinnati right now. Another storm is currently hovering over Iowa, Wisconsin and down to central Missouri, but unless winds change, we won't see it.
However, always keep tuned to Winter Weather Watchers on WBIW, and keep watching WBIW.com, since, as things may change, we will bring you the latest in closings, cancellations and delays.
