Marine Corps Sergeant Tells Bedford "Why She Serves"

(BEDFORD) - The United States Marine Corps’ “Why We Serve” program sent one of their own to Bedford this afternoon to speak to the Bedford Kiwanis club.
Sgt. LaDilvia Gregg spoke to the crowd at S&L Creative Corner about why servicemen and women enlist in the military, and after having spent 3 tours in Iraq with a fourth due this April, Sgt. Gregg knows what keeps them going.
Gregg said, "money, food and mail," were the key to making a happy soldier.
Sgt. Gregg serves in intelligence helping an unmanned aerial vehicle crew in Iraq.
And if you want to hear more of her story and about her experiences in Iraq, make sure you tune in tomorrow morning to the Talk of the Town at 8:30am, as Sgt. Gregg and News Director Justin Metzger talk live about her take on the war on terrorism and in Iraq.
