(INDIANAPOLIS) - A Bloomington man is sentenced to be locked up for more than 15 years for robbing an Indy bank.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation announced the sentence of 24-year-old Anthony Harrell, to 188 months after his guilty plea to armed robbery.

Last September, FBI and IMPD officials say Harrell walked into a Sky Bank in Indy, dressed all in white, jumped the counter presenting what would turn out to be a BB gun and demanding cash.

Harrell apparently made off with more than $6,300 cash from the tills up front. The police found some of the banks money on the west side of the Circle City and more in a lockbox in his Bloomington home.

All but $828 were recovered, and Harrell admitted his role in the robbery.

US District Judge David Hamilton also sentenced Harrell to 5 years supervised release, a $1,000 fine, and to pay back the remaining $828 missing.
