Bedford Salvation Army In Need Of Basic Items

(BEDFORD) - The Salvation Army in Bedford is needing some help in restocking their pantry.

Major Jo Ann Ashcraft of the Bedford post says they are looking for some basic food items including jelly, instant mashed potatoes, spaghetti sauce and cereal and some basic toiletry items like toilet paper and soap.

Major Ashcraft appreciates the help Lawrence County can offer, especially since they may see some increase in usage with this week's weather problems being as they are.

See below for the full list of needed items or call the Salvation Army at 275-5429.

Food Items:
Instant mashed potatoes
Canned potatoes
Tomato juice
Spaghetti sauce
Manwich (sloppy joe mix)
Peanut butter
Cereal
Toaster pastries
Oatmeal
Crackers
Cookies

Non-Food Items:
Toilet paper
Paper towels
Dish soap
Laundry soap
