(BEDFORD) - In another instance of truth being stranger than fiction, Bedford police say a Scotland, Indiana man allegedly showed up to his probation meeting intoxicated.
Police officials say they were called to the lobby of the Lawrence County Juvenile Probation Department to meet with 34-year-old Stewart Skinner, whom department workers suspected was drunk.
When officers arrived, they say Skinner showed signs of being intoxicated, and later tested positive for intoxicants.
Skinner was arrested for public intoxication and taken to the Lawrence County jail.
However, why the 34-year-old man was at the Juvenile Probation Department is unknown.
