(BLOOMINGTON) - A Morgan County judge showed no mercy for a man who held a woman hostage with a BB gun.

41-year-old James Robertson will spend the next 30 years in prison. In January, Robertson walked into an office at a Marsh Supermarket - holding a gun and a package believed to be a bomb.

He let one female employee go, but held the other hostage.

Turns out, the gun he carried was harmless and - so was the package.

Robertson's sentence was handed down after he pleaded guilty to felony kidnapping per plea agreement.
