(BEDFORD) - The North Lawrence Water Authority is concerned about reports of people claiming to be water employees visiting people’s houses.

The Water Authority says that it has come to their attention that 2 women have been going around claiming to be authority employees taking water samples.

The NLWA wants to inform people that they are not water employees and that they are not conducting any such activity.

If you are concerned about someone knocking on your door claiming to be water employees, North Lawrence Water Authority employees all carry photo ID badges to identify who they are.

NLWA says if anyone comes to your door asking to conduct water samples, call the police.
