(BEDFORD) - A relatively minor rear-end accident sends a Bedford woman to the hospital.

Bedford police say 32-year-old Lori Strunk of Bedford was stopped at a green light on northbound I Street waiting to turn left when she was rear-ended by 40-year-old Donna May of Bedford.

May says she was sitting behind Strunk's vehicle when her foot slipped off the brake.

Strunk said she hit her head on the head rest and complained of head pain, and was transported by ambulance to Dunn Memorial Hospital.

No citations have been issued.
