Alleged Bloomington Shooter Out On Bond
(BLOOMINGTON) - The Indiana University law student charged with allegedly shooting his assault rifle from his Bloomington apartment balcony has finally made bail.
27-year-old Jesse Sneed bonded out Wednesday after having his bail lowered to $1,000 cash by the Monroe County courts.
However, his release does not come without conditions.
For starters, he must submit to alcohol treatment at Peter and Paul Community Services in St. Louis, Missouri, and live with his grandmother in her suburban St. Louis home. Sneed must also stay clear of the law school, may not be in possession of a firearm, nor consume alcohol, or be in the presence of anyone under the influence of alcohol or other controlled substances.
Sneed is charged with criminal recklessness with a weapon for his alleged shooting October 16th.
Police think he was shooting at one of his textbooks, which they found beneath his balcony, with 2 bullet holes in it.
