(BEDFORD) - An 18-year-old French Lick woman, whose license is reportedly suspended, ran her car off the road injuring herself and her passenger.

Late Saturday morning, Lawrence County sheriffs say 18-year-old Crystal Grissom was traveling westbound on Old Vincennes Rd. when she apparently overcorrected on a turn, almost 1 mile south of Frank Dumond Rd.

The car then went over an embankment, struck a tree, rolled over and landed back on its wheels.

She was found by Sheriff's deputies to have had her license suspended previously, and Grissom also complained of neck pain.

Her passenger, 18-year-old Joshua Cox, also of French Lick, was reportedly not wearing his seat belt and came out of the accident with severe bleeding in his shoulder and upper arm.
