New Washington Farm Rebuilds Herd
Last updated on Friday, October 26, 2007
(NEW WASHINGTON) - A Southern Indiana couple whose cattle herd was wiped out by a deadly reaction to soybeans is starting over with three pregnant black angus heifers donated by Kentucky farmers.
Chrissy and Kenny Yeager say they'll use the pregnant heifers to rebuild their herd.
Earlier this month, their 11 cows and a bull died suddenly after eating too many soybeans.
