Moped Driver Hits Car, Tries To Push Scooter Away

(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was arrested after he allegedly ran his moped into another vehicle while drunk and tried to get away.
Bedford police reports say 38-year-old Shawn Hall of Bedford allegedly ran into a vehicle, and then left the scene pushing his moped until he parked it at 20th and N Streets.
Bedford police made contact after the driver of the other vehicle called 911, Hall was found and officers noticed the smell of alcohol on his breath.
Hall also was found with injuries to his face. Hall stands charged with public intoxication, operating a vehicle while intoxicated, and leaving the scene of an accident with injuries.
