IU Law Professor Ranks High In Data Security
(BLOOMINGTON) - One of America’s foremost privacy advisers is right here in Indiana.
According to Computerworld Magazine, Indiana University law professor Fred Cate ranks among the brightest in the nation.
The magazine asked about 400 corporate privacy leaders who they'd contact in a situation where private data was compromised, Cate ranked ninth out of 25 people listed.
Cate's specialty is security law and information privacy. He's testified before Congress and has advised the government on how to best protect information.
