IU Announces Route, Plan For Homecoming Parade

(BLOOMINGTON) - Indiana University and the Bloomington police have announced the route and traffic management plans for the homecoming parade on Friday the 19th.
At 3:45, parade vehicles will stage on Rose Avenue between 3rd and 7th Streets and will line up until a quarter after 5.
At that time, traffic entering Jordan Ave. north of 3rd Street will be diverted north, 7th Street will be closed from Jordan to Union, westbound traffic on 3rd Street will be turned east at High Street, and traffic heading north on Indiana Ave. will be turned west on 3rd.
The parade will begin at 5:30 and will arrive at Sample Gates around 6:30.
