Accused Molester Shoots Himself During Arrest Attempt

(FORT WAYNE) - Allen County sheriff’s deputies say a child molesting suspect killed himself as they attempted to serve an arrest warrant at his home.

Najae Bland had been under investigation for two weeks after a 10-year-old girl told police he'd been molesting her since she was six.

No one answered Bland's door when police first arrived. When the swat team went in two hours later, they found Bland critically wounded with a bullet wound to the head. He died early this morning.
