2 Car Wreck Injures Drivers, Causes Small Car Fire
(BEDFORD) - Two people were injured after a wreck started a vehicle fire near 6th and J Streets in Bedford Monday afternoon.
16-year-old Kindra Owens says she was arguing with her boyfriend when she disregarded the stop sign at the intersection of 6th and J and passed through the stop, striking the Dodge sedan of 19-year-old Chelsee New.
New's vehicle was reported to have been on fire prior to officers arriving on scene, but it was put out by other parties at the scene.
Both Owens and New were reported as having been injured.
