(MITCHELL) - The Persimmon Festival has a new queen!
Erin McIntosh was selected as the 2007 Persimmon Festival queen at the pageant finals last night.
McIntosh was elated to hear the news of course, but also on hand was Kelsey Terrell, the 2006 Persimmon Queen, who passed off the tiara and wished the new queen, and all the other participants well.
Today at the Persimmon Festival, be sure to stop by the Church of Christ on Main Street for the Red Cross blood drive which starts at 1:00PM, and stay for Open Heart and the Wray Brothers performances on the Main Street stage.
