(MITCHELL) - The carnival at the Persimmon Festival got underway last night on Main Street in Mitchell, marking what many consider to be the popular beginning to the fiesta.
Tonight, come to the main stage for the Mini-Miss, Little Miss and Junior Miss Persimmon pageants which kick off at 8:00PM tonight.
And if you're hungry, come by the 7th Street Food Tent for a pork dinner sponsored by the Marion Township Rural Fire Department.
