(BLOOMINGTON) - Indiana University police are on the hunt for a group of individuals who allegedly abducted and sexually assaulted a female international student.

Shortly after 2:30PM Friday afternoon, IU police received a call from a 19-year-old exchange student saying she had been abducted and assaulted.

Police say she was walking near the tennis courts at Jordan Ave. and Law Ln. when several males came from behind and carried the woman to a grey vehicle, drove to an unknown location, and sexually assaulted her. Afterwards, they returned her to where the abduction initially took place.

IU police transported her to Bloomington Hospital for medical treatment and are currently looking for the suspects.

IU police ask anyone with information to contact the Investigation Section at (812) 855-4111.
