Convicted Bedford Man Faces Additional Murder Charges

(ANDERSON) - A man accused of killing a fellow inmate might learn next month whether he will face the death penalty.
The Miami County prosecutor says he will seek the punishment against 39-year-old Scott Nicholson of Bedford.
Nicholson is accused of killing convicted child molester David Hensley in December 2003 at the Miami Correctional Facility.
Nicholson's hearing on the death penalty reinstatement is September 10th. He is now being held at the Pendleton Correctional Facility and is accused of using part of his wheelchair to injure a prison guard there.
