(BEDFORD) - A young Bedford man is injured after rear-ending another vehicle coming over a hill last night.

Lawrence County officials say 18-year-old Seith Wheeler was going about 50mph westbound on Art Gallery Rd. south of Bedford, when he crested a hill and ran into the rear of a man on the other side who had just backed out of his driveway.

The other driver, 42-year-old Curt Parsley of Mitchell, was not hurt, but Wheeler was taken by ambulance to Bedford Regional Medical Center for reported injuries to his hip and leg.

Bedford police and fire departments were asked to the scene to reportedly help with extracting Wheeler from the vehicle.
