Woman Charged With Fatally Shooting Husband

(BLOOMINGTON) - A 55-year-old Monroe County woman faces charges in the shooting death of her husband.
Juanita Hood was formally charged with voluntary manslaughter Tuesday, five days after her husband, John, was shot once in the chest.
Hood told authorities she shot her 63-year-old husband after he had attacked her in their home.
