Wife Arrested For John Hood Murder

(BLOOMINGTON) - A Bloomington woman is being held in the Monroe County jail after she was arrested Thursday night for allegedly murdering her husband.
Police say Juanita Hood shot John Hood in the chest. The Hoods were the owners of Putter's Park and Johnny Joe's Pub in Ellettsville.
They were known to be very giving, and even held fundraisers to help residents in their community. It's still unclear to police just what happened the night John Hood was shot.
Police say Juanita Hood had been drinking that night, and had admitted that she and her husband had had an argument. Autopsy results are expected Monday.
