(BEDFORD) - A number of traffic incidents Wednesday night involving unlicensed drivers in Bedford.

3 people were charged with driving with a suspended license in 3 separate incidents, one resulting in a traffic accident.

45-year-old Jesse Hughes was traveling east on John Williams Blvd. at the intersection of "R" street when he struck the Chevy Tahoe of 28-year-old Jessica Flynn of Bedford on the driver's side rear quarter-panel when she was trying to cross Williams. Hughes was found to have had his license suspended and Bedford Police cited him for the infraction.

The accident prompted a large emergency response with at least 2 fire engines as well as police and an ambulance. The emergency equipment was blocking the intersection of R and Williams throughout the clean-up.
