(BEDFORD) - The Lawrence County Community Foundation has awarded the Bedford Revitalization, Inc., through Penny May, a $500 grant to purchase two banners for the Bedford Farmers Market.

Penny May says the banners will be made by Johnny's Signs and feature harvest colors with thematic decorations.

The Bedford Farmers Market is held each Saturday behind the Lawrence County Museum in Downtown Bedford.

It is the hope of all of the vendors at the Saturday Home Grown Farmers Market that the signs will stimulate more customers to shop for fresh produce.
