Mitchell Dog Attacks Several People

(MITCHELL) - A number of complaints have arisen about a Rottweiler puppy attacking people around the 700 block of Mississippi in Mitchell.

On Monday, a man contacted Mitchell police informing him of his being attacked by this 6-month-old Rottweiler, but was able to fend the dog off. The previous week, another woman had also reported being attacked by the same dog.

The Mitchell Street Department has said they have received other complaints about the same animal earlier in the year, but every time they try to confront the dog's owner, she pulls the dog inside and refuses to cooperate.
