Heat Advisory For Bedford And Southern Indiana

(BEDFORD) - The national weather service has issued a heat advisory for all of southern Indiana for this afternoon.
The thermometer is expected to approach 100 degrees today, and high pressures and southerly winds will help keep the humidity high making the heat index pass 100 easily. The heat advisory will be in effect from 01:00pm this afternoon until about 08:00pm this evening.
Bedford residents are encouraged to stay inside in the air conditioning and out of the sun, drink plenty of fluids and check up on elderly and ill friends, family and neighbors.
