Couple Still Loose After Assaulting Two On Highway

(LAWRENCE COUNTY) - A scary incident for a couple traveling on Ridge Rd. near the old Williams School Wednesday night.
Kenya wheeler called 911 after 10:00pm last night telling police a van was trying to run her and her companion and driver of the vehicle, Dustin Couch, off the road. Couch pulled the vehicle off the road when a man named Nathan Earl reportedly got out of his van, approached the window and struck Couch in the face twice. Earl and his passenger, who is reported as Valerie Shifflett, drove off after the assault.
According to Lawrence County Sheriff's Department, the matter will be referred to a prosecutor. Earl, Shifflett nor the van has been found.
