Bloomington To Host Governor Arts Awards Ceremony

(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington will become the first city outside of Indianapolis to host the Indiana Governor’s Arts Awards Ceremony.
Ceremonies have been held in Indianapolis since the awards program started in 1973 as a way to increase arts awareness and honor people and organizations that help do so.
Governor Daniels decided to move the awards to spotlight other communities.
