Birdseye Couple Charged With Dealing Meth

(BIRDSEYE) - A couple from Birdseye were arrested by Indiana State Police Jasper, with assistance by Birdseye Town Marshall Bob Jenkins, for methamphetamine charges.

38-year-old Joseph Dearborn and 26-year-old Melinda Cook, both of Oak Hill road in Birdseye, were allegedly discovered with more than 3 grams of meth, individually packaged for sale.

The couple were rung up on felony charges of dealing methamphetamine over 3 grams, possession of meth over 3 grams, maintaining a common nuisance and a misdemeanor charge of possession of paraphernalia.

Both individuals are currently residing in the Crawford County Jail.
