Bedford Man Arrested For Child Molestation

(BEDFORD) - Bedford Police arrested 42-year-old Steven Rottet to fulfill a pair of outstanding warrants, including one in Monroe County for child molestation.
Monroe County detective Brad Swain said Rottet allegedly molested a 9-year-old Bloomington girl last year.
Rottet, was arrested in Bedford after failing to appear for a couple interviews with Detective Swain and was found at the address he had provided earlier. Bedford police spokesman Dennis Parsley said Rottet was arrested without incident.
The other warrant for Rottet's arrest is in Lawrence County for contempt of court stemming from a separate civil case.
