15-Year-Old Skateboards Into Car

(BEDFORD) - A 15-year-old kid hit a car while skateboarding across O St. at the intersection of 16th St.
64-year-old Dearl Runyon of Bedford was traveling north on O St. with a green light through the intersection when he heard a loud thump and saw that the kid had skateboarded into the side of his SUV. The 15-year-old said he is partially blind in his left eye and could not see the green light for O St. and proceeded to cross the road on his skateboard.
He complained of pain in his leg afterward but declined medical treatment. No citations were issued.
