Hundreds Watch Crowning Of 4-H Fair Queen

(BEDFORD) - The 2007 Lawrence County 4-H Fair Queen has been crowned.

In ceremonies held at the Expo Hall Friday night 20-year-old Alyse Hill became the new Lawrence County 4-H Fair Queen. Hill is the daughter of Wendell and Jody Hill.

Hills says she was the 2nd runner up for many years and now she will be able to wear her tiara with pride.

Second runner-up is 16-year-old Montana Lucas. First runner-up is 18-year-old Bridget Stipp. Miss Congeniality is Olivia Thompson.

This year was the return of the Little Miss contest. Makenzie Meadows was selected the winner and was presented a crown and a bouquet of flowers.

Alyse Hill and her court will participate in many of the activities at the 2007 Lawrence County 4-H Fair starting this weekend.
