Mitchell Man Arrested For Possession Of Drugs

(MITCHELL) - An off-duty police officer arrested a Mitchell man on drug charges after he was spotted weaving on Hwy. 60 west of Mitchell.

The officer followed 26-year-old Edward Haste for several miles before stopping him.

The officer found marijuana and drug paraphernalia and arrested him on two drug charges.

Haste was sent to the Lawrence County Security Center and incarcerated.
