Winner Announced In 4-H Fair Best Cake Contest

(BEDFORD) - The Best Cake Contest was held Saturday afternoon at the 2007 Lawrence County 4-H Fair.

After taste testing the entries, the judges chose three winners.

The winner of the cake contest was Mark Zukumft with his Blue Ribbon Blueberry Cake.

In second place was Julie Brassfield with her cake titled "A Taste Of Strawberry Heaven". The judges agreed with the cake title.

And Karen Spreen won third place with her Country Time Lemon Cake. According to the judges it tasted just like the Country Time lemonade drink.

Congratulations to everyone who participated in the contest.
