Columbus Newspaper Changes Hands

(COLUMBUS) - A Columbus native who became advertising director of The Republic in January 2006, has been named the newspaper’s new publisher.
36-year-old Chuck Wells succeeds Bud Herron, who retired last month after a career that spanned five decades and included more than 30 years with home news enterprises, the parent company of The Republic.
