Bedford Developer Confuses Plan Commission With Proposal
(BEDFORD) - The Bedford Plan Commission and Trent Jones spent over an hour Monday night trying to iron out differences between a proposed residential subdivision and a single residence property.
Jones, along with Bernie Guerettaz of Bledsoe Riggert Guerrettaz Civil Engineers, came to the meeting asking for planting a minor subdivision of three lots on Spring Drive east of Bedford.
During the discussion, Jones asked for approval of two acres for a single residence. Board members were concerned with the future of the area and asked Jones how he plans to improve the area.
Jones said he was simply interested in the single property. The board tabled his original proposal and asked Jones to resubmit his request for the one lot.
City attorneys will look over the proposal and make suggestions at a special meeting to be held later.
