(BLOOMINGTON) - A state historic marker will be unveiled Saturday at the site where Hoagy Carmichael composed his famous song “Stardust”.
Carmichael wrote "Stardust" 80 years ago at the site that used to be an Indiana University off-campus hangout.
The Bloomington native earned a law degree from IU in 1926.
Carmichael later decided to pursue music instead of law.
