Local Book Sale Helps Send Books To Troops
(BEDFORD) - Bedford Public Library Director Susan Miller has a neat story to tell about the books they put on sale.
Miller says Joe Henley chooses paperback books to send to troops overseas.
Miller continues, noting that the library receives letters back from the troop saying thanks, including one letter from a captain saying that the books make a difference in the moral of the troops and it helps them get some away from combat.
Miller says she appreciates that people take advantage of the library's book sales in that manner.
