Independent Running For Mayor Of Bedford

(BEDFORD) - Another name has been added to the roster for the mayor of Bedford.
Shawna Girgis is announcing her candidacy on the independent ticket.
Girgis is the wife of Dr. Kamal Girgis and is a grant writer for the Indiana Rural Health Association with an office in Bedford. Together they have three children.
According to her campaign manager, Girgis will be shaking hands at many of the upcoming Limestone Heritage Festival events.
Girgis will run against Republican candidate Jean Williams and Democrat candidate Al Craig on Election Day, Tuesday, November 6th.
