Bloomington Man Charged With Domestic Battery In Mitchell
(MITCHELL) - Mitchell police have arrested a Bloomington man on domestic battery charges.
According to police logs, Michelle Johnson called police saying that her ex-husband, Mark Johnson, had just battered her. Johnson said she had been kicked in the knee with steel toe shoes and her clothes were ripped. Police went to the home and Michelle filled out a statement there.
Meanwhile, another female called police saying that Mark did not batter his ex-wife, in fact the woman reported that she had been with Mark at the time. The woman was informed that Mark had a warrant out for his arrest.
Later, Michelle Johnson called police saying Mark Johnson was back at her residence.
When police arrived they found Mark Johnson and arrested him. Johnson was taken to the Lawrence County Jail and is awaiting his pre-trial hearing.
