ATV Accident Sends Bedford Woman To Hospital
(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman suffered injures following an ATV accident Sunday night near the tiny town of Zelma.
Indiana Conservation officers are investigating the accident which involved 26-year-old Mandy Mills.
Witnesses say Mills was operating the vehicle when she fell from the machine and struck her head.
Mills was taken home by a friend, but then later taken to Dunn Memorial Hospital after she became unresponsive.
Conservation Officer Ryan Jahn says Mills was not wearing a helmet and suspects alcohol may have been a factor in the accident.
Public Information Officer Mark Farmer says Mills' injures were not life-threatening.
