(BEDFORD) - A team has been picked to recount the votes from the May 2007 Lawrence County Primary.

Republican incumbent Mayor Joe Klumpp asked for the recount after losing to Jean Williams by a 25 vote margin.

Lawrence County Circuit Court Judge Rick McIntyre has chosen Republican Harold Sneed and Democrat Sandy Young to recount the votes.

McIntyre says it shouldn't take more than a day to add up the ballots from the 15 precincts in Bedford. He says the two representatives will count the votes in the Lawrence County Circuit Courtroom.

Lawrence County Clerk Julie Blackwell-Chase-Brinegar says they have tentatively set June 7th to recount the votes.
