Jasper Man Arrested After Killing Turkeys

(JASPER) - A Jasper man has been arrested following the death of 963 turkeys.
Jasper Police and the Indiana State Police were alerted of cut LP gas lines at the Denu Brothers Turkey Barn and at the Poultry Products Farm, both near Jasper.
A search warrant was issued at the home of 39-year-old David Howard. Police arrested Howard on two counts of theft and one count of criminal mischief.
Another arrest is pending on a second suspect who was involved.
